A talking computer for the visually-impaired

Access With Speech (JAWS) is a specially-designed screen reading software made available to by the Ability Foundation, to enable the visually impared to access the Internet.

"'We have initiated classes in National Center for Information and Communication Technology (NCICT), a pilot association with UNESCO, and cafés for the visually-impaired with the help of Job access with Speech (JAWS) for windows software and the service of a Braille printing unit,' said Jayshree Raveendran, Founder, Ability Foundation.
